Another message ended. Damn voicemail never let me finish. But then I wasn’t sure she was even listening to my messages. I had been calling her every damn night since the moment she walked out of my door and still nothing. I had gone to her dad’s house in Los Angeles and no one was there. I wasn’t even allowed past the gate. Security had called the police the last time I was there. A call to Rush Finlay was all that kept them from hauling me off to jail.

I have to say that I was heart broken at the end of Take a Chance. I have a child with heart disease and to think someone could walk away from her and break her heart broke me up. I look forward to Grant redeeming himself as he is my favourite Rosemary Beach male so far.

I am so excited for One More Chase! I must say I’m interested to see how this plays out. Hopefully it’s not entirely about Grant chasing Harlow when in the last book she is actually the one who didn’t tell him life changing information and was more selfish than I expected in the end. He’s been chasing her for a while now, come on Harlow fight for him!!!
I hope Harlow doesn’t give in too easily with Grant, I hope she makes him grovel! I can’t wait for One More Chance and then there’s Rush Too Far… I’m so excited! 🙂

The first book of Rush was translated in Dutch. But I could not wait to read the other books. So I bought them in Enlish. I really love them, But have my tablet with me with google translate on it for the difficult words. But Abbi please hurry up with the other books. I am waiting for them. Will you please also write about Bethy, Nan and Mase?????

Uhh I think making a tv show would ruin the books. Their shows are never successful and personally I like imaging the book cuz then things go MY way not some messed up version of the directors POV to make it easier to shoot. So no thank you to the tv show!
I see your point but its the same when they turn the books into a movie. I still think its fun to experience them on screen even if they do twist some things around and leave stuff out. I love to compare and contrast movie or TV show’s to books. So yes to TV show/ movie for me 🙂

I really liked Mase, with his boots, ruggedness, work ethic and values… I was kind of hoping he would develop a crush on Bethy and take her away to a clean start. That is the kind of man she truly deserves.
Oh give Tripp a break, he left behind the only girl he ever loved after she had an abortion as a teen. I personally like him and hope that in addition to reading their story in “You Were Mine” that he and Bethy can get back together because Jace’s death brought them back. Hope they can get over his death together. Jace would have wanted Bethy to be happy don’t you think?? Even if it wasn’t with him….

I’m aware that You Were Mine is coming out, after One More Chance, but I will forever be in denial of the Tripp and Bethy ending. I loved Jace too much for him to just become the means by which Bethy and Tripp get thrown back together. Especially because I don’t think Tripp deserves Bethy after what he did to her. I hate what he did to her. He might deserve a happy ending but not with her… maybe he can be Nan’s happy ending. That would totally work for me!!!

I swear I could see it happening in my head while reading Take a Chance. The first time he saw her, sitting alone, drinking at the honky tonk when Harlow went to talk to her. And unbeknownst to us, all the time he spent in Rosemary, when he wasn’t with Harlow, he was getting close to her. And secretly, when he told Harlow he would go back to Rosemary as soon as his step-dad was better, it was also so he could run into Bethy again…
Uuuuggggghhhh! I wish I can pull September right now. So that I could read this book. I really love your books abbi. Keep ’em up
