When I write a book I ALWAYS have a playlist. I can’t write without music pumping in my ears. I have special earbuds that fit just right and I close myself away in my office then I write. For hours… and hours…
Although my brain doesn’t focus on the music, because it gets lost in the story that is pouring out of me, it does begin to associate those songs and those words and the meaning and feel of each song to the book.

Ordered a paper copy of Fallen to far for my mum to read (as mine is on my kindle) may give it to my nan too (who is 90 in a couple weeks) She loved 50 shades series so am sure she will love this. When I read Fallen Too Far I thought of the Christina Perri song Arms or I have had the Taylor Swift Red album on in the background. My husband never understands how I can listen to music and read and I tell him it is the only time I can have my “me” time in my own little world.. I don’t have to think about school, him, my daughter, the dirty dishes or even the dog.. It is just me and the book I am currently reading and my background soundtrack! Glad I am not the only one!
Song #2 & #3 were the first ones that came to mind for these characters…fits perfectly! So excited for this book 🙂

Absolutely love the Parachute song. They have some great music! My favorites by them are “What I know” and “Blame It On Me”. You should try Cab’s “Angel With A Shotgun” or “Bad. I am currently obsessed with Ed Sheeran’s “Small Bump” though it’ll make you cry. Anyway I can’t wait to read the new book!!!!
