My Coastal Bookstore Exploration Down 30A & a GIVEAWAY!

Yesterday, I had a really tough day. I mean it was grueling… HA! That’s a lie. Actually, yesterday ranked right up there with one of the best days I’ve had this summer. The hubby and I got away for a little overnight trip and spent an entire day visiting small independent bookstores along the coastal scenic highway 30A corridor. We began our trip in one of my favorite places, Seaside, Florida. Other than the fact you can stay at the Vera Bradley, Inn by the Sea, while in Seaside you can also get lost in the laid back southern coast feel of SUNDOG Books.
Doesn’t it make you just want to run up the steps into the welcoming smell of books?
While in this Über cool book store I made a purchase I intend to giveaway on my blog. I’ll get to that later….
Our next stop was in Rosemary Beach, Florida. This place reminds me of a fairytale coastal town. I was almost positive there were mermaids under the clear blue water lapping up on their shore. Here I found The Hidden Lantern bookstore

All I wanted to do was curl up on one of those cozy chairs and read. I spent the most time in this store because of the easy welcoming feel.
Then it was time for some coffee so we stopped in this little place….
Amavida, where they didn’t just specialize in coffee but had a colorful selection of books and art as well.
What could be better than coffee and books? NOTHING.
Now, for the giveaway info. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was my first YA read and the reason I fell in love with the genre. So, when I found this lovely hardback looking at me on the shelf at SUNDOG I knew I had to buy it and give it away on my blog….
Just comment on this post with your email address to enter. On August 25, I will pick a winner out of the hat and email it to you as well as post it on my blog. Good Luck!
