I don’t really want any “things” for Christmas. I’ve actually heen trying to talk my family out of buying presents for the past few years. I just want to spend time together…. have our annual cooking baking extravaganza, eat too much, and laugh a lot.
We have some very sick family members this year, so more than ever I want to appreciate our time together.

Its been a hard time since August when he was diagnosed. He is sick and in the bed. Which is understandable. But I want him to be okay enough to be with the kids when they open there presents his year as we do every year. I want the kids to have all the happy moments of him to carry on.

Making sure that I make my friend’s (twin ladie’s) smile at least once a day as their mum will soon be earning her wings. I know this is sappy but it’s killing me that I can’t do anything for them. I succeeded today & I’m damn well going to try & keep it up. I just hope their mum makes it past Christmas, this is not something that I want to loom over them this time of year for the rest of their lives. I just feel so helpless

My #1 item is a new iPod. My really old ipod classic was stolen along with a case of Pepsi out of my car the night I went to see The Mortal Instruments this summer. Why they couldn’t have taken my sirius radio instead, I just do not know.. I had a lot of good music on that iPod and it acted as a backup hard drive for me. Boo!

The number one thing I am looking forward to this year is a new electric kettle. I have been eyeing this one for a while now and decided that if I don’t get it, then I will make it my gift to myself. I drink so much tea and cocoa and it’s getting really annoying having to boil water all the time. I basically have this one saucepan that sits on my stove top all the time waiting to be filled with water to boil. It’s been getting such a work out. Poor thing needs a vacation.

Especially the ones affected by Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. I wish that they’d see it as a sign of hope and that they’d not get depressed because of what happened. I believe that God made them experience it because they were the only ones who were strong enough to get through that.

Being in the cold of the Midwest our huge swimming pool broke from the below zero temps and flooded our basement and in turn ruined my Kindle since it happened to be on the end table right under the window where the water poured in like a fire hose. And of course insurance won’t cover it or the Xbox or all the Xmas presents for my kiddos that were ruined. Apparently the below zero temps and ice is not an act of God. Reading my books on my phone is just not the same.

I need him to know what an amazing young man he is , not just “mom talk” but finally get it – accept and learn to love him to – I want him to be proud when he looks in the mirror for that I’d lay down my life – My wish , dream , and prayer is to get him confident enough to embrace the greatness that is him and get back into school with his peers –
