When Life gives you lemons…First, I would like to thank all of my readers for always being forgiving and understanding when things don’t go as planned. This week has been one of many additional challenges which have forced some more changes to my marketing schedule. Monday’s chaos of the first two unedited chapters of Boy South of the Mason Dixon being mistakenly released was quite a fiasco. If you returned that version, you will be able to purchase the actual book on May 15 when the real book releases. If you chose to hold onto your pre-order, you will be able to update the book on release day. Then on Tuesday we had to say goodbye to Britt’s best four-legged friend, Katie, who has been by his side for many years and many adventures.
As much as I hate to make additional changes to our marketing schedule,
I’m going to try to make lemonade from these lemons by releasing the

My team has worked hard to get this out as soon as possible to make up for all the delays we are experiencing. This limited edition tee goes on sale tonight at 9:00pm CST and will be on sale until May 14 at 11:59pm CST leading up to the release of the book on May 15!

Due to some personal circumstances, the release for BOYS SOUTH OF THE MASON DIXON has been pushed back to May 15.
I have finished the manuscript, however it was just completed this past week. I was going to rush things and get it out on time but I have decided that in order to give readers a superior product that is worth your $3.99, I owe it to you all to give the preparation the proper time frame. Writing with a baby has slowed me down. I am working daily on ways to get more done in the hours given to me.
BUT because this is the decision I had to make today (and it wasn’t easy) I decided to post the Prologue, Chapter One and Chapter Two on my blog on April 24 (CHANGED TO MAY 1) – along with a giveaway of a Kindle Oasis. Look for more information on the Kindle giveaway in the blog post on April 24 (CHANGED TO MAY 1). I will also be giving away some signed copies that winners will receive after its release.
Don’t hate me. I know three more weeks isn’t what you wanted to hear. I just do not feel comfortable rushing this out there. I love this story. I want it to be its best.

Thank you for posting this. I noticed this morning my cc was charged $4.31 so when I went to see what it was for I realized it was the pre order of this book. I then went to my kindle to download it.
Started reading and then it just ended. I was wondering what in the world. I had thought I just bought a book with 2 chapters that just ended.
Thankfully I investigated more and someone had posted that it was a delay.
There was nothing in the email from Amazon indicating this so I had no way of knowing this was only part of the book and the rest was delayed.
Can’t wait to read the full version. The first two chapters were great!! And babies are REALLY hard sometimes.
